- Alosetron
- Alosetron tablets are indicated only for women with severe diarrhea-predominant irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) who have: chronic IBS symptoms (generally lasting 6 months or longer), had anatomic or biochemical abnormalities of the gastrointestinal tract excluded, and not responded adequately to conventional therapy. Diarrhea-predominant IBS is severe if it includes diarrhea and one or more of the following: frequent and severe abdominal pain/discomfort, frequent bowel urgency or fecal incontinence, disability or restriction of daily activities due to IBS.
- Clidinium
- Chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride and clidinium bromide capsules is indicated to control emotional and somatic factors in gastrointestinal disorders. Chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride and clidinium bromide capsules may also be used as adjunctive therapy in the treatment of peptic ulcer and in the treatment of the irritable bowel syndrome (irritable colon, spastic colon, mucous colitis) and acute enterocolitis.
- Dicyclomine
- Dicyclomine hydrochloride capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of patients with functional bowel/irritable bowel syndrome.
- Eluxadoline
- VIBERZI is indicated in adults for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D). VIBERZI is a mu-opioid receptor agonist, indicated in adults for the treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with diarrhea (IBS-D).
- Linaclotide
- LINZESS is indicated for the treatment of: • irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults and pediatric patients 7 years of age and older • chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults • functional constipation (FC) in pediatric patients 2 years of age and older LINZESS is a guanylate cyclase-C agonist indicated for treatment of: Irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults and pediatric patients 7 years of age and older. ( 1 ) Chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC) in adults.
- Plecanatide
- TRULANCE is indicated in adults for the treatment of: chronic idiopathic constipation (CIC). irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C).
- Tenapanor
- IBSRELA is indicated for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults. IBSRELA is a sodium/hydrogen exchanger 3 (NHE3) inhibitor indicated for treatment of irritable bowel syndrome with constipation (IBS-C) in adults.
