- Aripiprazole
- Aripiprazole is indicated for the treatment of: • Schizophrenia • Irritability Associated with Autistic Disorder • Treatment of Tourette’s Disorder Aripiprazole is an atypical antipsychotic.
- Aripiprazole Lauroxil
- ARISTADA is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies ( 14 )]. ARISTADA is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults ( 1 ).
- Brexpiprazole
- REXULTI is indicated for: Adjunctive treatment to antidepressants for major depressive disorder (MDD) in adults Treatment of schizophrenia in adults and pediatric patients ages 13 years and older Treatment of agitation associated with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease Limitations of Use: REXULTI is not indicated as an as needed ("prn") treatment for agitation associated with dementia due to Alzheimer's disease [see Clinical Studies (14.3) ] .
- Chlorpromazine
- For the management of manifestations of psychotic disorders. For the treatment of schizophrenia.
- Clozapine
- Clozapine orally disintegrating tablets (Clozapine ODT) is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for: Treatment of severely ill patients with schizophrenia who fail to respond adequately to standard antipsychotic treatment. Because of the risks of severe neutropenia and of seizure associated with its use, Clozapine ODT should be used only in patients who have failed to respond adequately to standard antipsychotic treatment ( 1.1 ) Reducing the risk of recurrent suicidal behavior in patients with schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder who are judged to be at chronic risk for re-experiencing suicidal behavior ( 1.2 ) 1.1 Treatment-resistant Schizophrenia Clozapine Orally Disintegrating Tablets (Clozapine ODT) are indicated for the treatment of severely ill patients with schizophrenia who fail to respond adequately to standard antipsychotic treatment.
- Iloperidone
- FANAPT ® is indicated for: Treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1) ]. Acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar I disorder in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.2) ] .
- Loxapine
- Loxapine Capsules, USP are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. The efficacy of loxapine in schizophrenia was established in clinical studies which enrolled newly hospitalized and chronically hospitalized acutely ill schizophrenic patients as subjects.
- Lumateperone
- CAPLYTA is indicated for: Treatment of schizophrenia in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1) ] . Treatment of depressive episodes associated with bipolar I or II disorder (bipolar depression) in adults, as monotherapy and as adjunctive therapy with lithium or valproate [see Clinical Studies (14.2) ] .
- Lurasidone
- Lurasidone hydrochloride tablets are indicated for: • Treatment of adult and adolescent patients (13 to 17 years) with schizophrenia [see Clinical Studies ( 14.1 )] . • Monotherapy treatment of adult and pediatric patients (10 to 17 years) with major depressive episode associated with bipolar I disorder (bipolar depression) [see Clinical Studies ( 14.2 )].
- Molindone
- Molindone Hydrochloride Tablets, USP are indicated for the management of schizophrenia. The efficacy of Molindone Hydrochloride Tablets, USP in schizophrenia was established in clinical studies which enrolled newly hospitalized and chronically hospitalized, acutely ill, schizophrenic patients as subjects.
- Olanzapine
- Olanzapine is an atypical antipsychotic indicated: As oral formulation for the: Treatment of schizophrenia. ( 1.1 ) Adults: Efficacy was established in three clinical trials in patients with schizophrenia: two 6-week trials and one maintenance trial.
- Paliperidone
- Paliperidone extended-release tablets are an atypical antipsychotic agent indicated for Treatment of schizophrenia (1.1) Adults: Efficacy was established in three 6-week trials and one maintenance trial. (14.1) Adolescents (ages 12 to 17): Efficacy was established in one 6-week trial.
- Perphenazine
- Perphenazine tablets, USP are indicated for use in the treatment of schizophrenia and for the control of severe nausea and vomiting in adults. Perphenazine tablets, USP have not been shown effective for the management of behavioral complications in patients with mental retardation.
- Prochlorperazine
- For control of severe nausea and vomiting. For the treatment of schizophrenia.
- Quetiapine
- & USAGE Quetiapine is an atypical antipsychotic indicated for the treatment of: Schizophrenia ( 1.1 ) Bipolar I disorder manic episodes ( 1.2 ) Bipolar disorder, depressive episodes ( 1.2 ) 1.1 Schizophrenia Quetiapine is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. The efficacy of quetiapine in schizophrenia was established in three 6-week trials in adults and one 6-week trial in adolescents (13 to 17 years).
- Risperidone
- Risperidone tablets are an atypical antipsychotic indicated for: Treatment of schizophrenia ( 1.1 ) As monotherapy or adjunctive therapy with lithium or valproate, for the treatment of acute manic or mixed episodes associated with Bipolar I Disorder ( 1.2 ) Treatment of irritability associated with autistic disorder ( 1.3 ) 1.1 Schizophrenia Risperidone tablets are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia. Efficacy was established in 4 short-term trials in adults, 2 short-term trials in adolescents (ages 13 to 17 years), and one long-term maintenance trial in adults [see Clinical Studies (14.1) ] .
- Samidorphan
- LYBALVI is indicated for the treatment of: Schizophrenia in adults Bipolar I disorder in adults Acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes as monotherapy and as adjunct to lithium or valproate Maintenance monotherapy treatment LYBALVI is a combination of olanzapine, an atypical antipsychotic, and samidorphan, an opioid antagonist, indicated for the treatment of: Schizophrenia in adults ( 1 ) Bipolar I disorder in adults ( 1 ) Acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes as monotherapy and as adjunct to lithium or valproate Maintenance monotherapy treatment
- Thiothixene
- & USAGE Thiothixene capsules are effective in the management of schizophrenia. Thiothixene capsules have not been evaluated in the management of behavioral complications in patients with mental retardation.
- Trifluoperazine
- For the management of schizophrenia. Trifluoperazine HCl is effective for the short-term treatment of generalized non-psychotic anxiety.
- Xanomeline
- COBENFY is indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults. COBENFY is a combination of xanomeline, a muscarinic agonist, and trospium chloride, a muscarinic antagonist, indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia in adults.
- Ziprasidone
- Ziprasidone capsules are indicated for the treatment of schizophrenia, as monotherapy for the acute treatment of bipolar manic or mixed episodes, and as an adjunct to lithium or valproate for the maintenance treatment of bipolar disorder. When deciding among the alternative treatments available for the condition needing treatment, the prescriber should consider the finding of ziprasidone’s greater capacity to prolong the QT/QTc interval compared to several other antipsychotic drugs [see Warnings and Precautions ( 5.3 ) ].
