/api/v1/reaction/systemic-lupus-erythematosusReference statistics only. FAERS reports are voluntarily submitted and are not incidence rates, safety signals, or causal evidence. The drugs below are ranked by how often this reaction appears on FAERS reports for each drug — high share does not mean the drug caused the reaction, and absence from this list does not mean the reaction never occurred. This is not a symptom checker.
DefinitionNLM MeSH D008180
A chronic, relapsing, inflammatory, and often febrile multisystemic disorder of connective tissue, characterized principally by involvement of the skin, joints, kidneys, and serosal membranes. It is of unknown etiology, but is thought to represent a failure of the regulatory mechanisms of the autoimmune system. The disease is marked by a wide range of system dysfunctions, an elevated erythrocyte sedimentation rate, and the formation of LE cells in the blood or bone marrow.
